Essentials of Chinese Acupuncture has been in use as the textbook for the introductory course in Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing International Acupuncture Training Centers since it was re-edited and published in June 1979. Over the years that it has been in use, its clear and simple presentation has proved invaluable in the teaching of foreign doctors.
